Parish Life & Community Groups
Discover the social, spiritual, and liturgical groups that make our parish a warm and active home. Everyone is welcome to get involved!
Growing Together Across Our Parish
While most of our current group activities take place in Olney, we are actively looking to expand and nurture new groupings throughout all the villages and communities that form our parish.
Whether you’d like to join an existing team or bring parishioners together in your local area, there is a place for you to share your gifts.
Faith, Fellowship & Social Life
1st Thursday Discussion Group
A relaxed, open monthly group coming together on the first Thursday of the month to explore faith topics, share insights, and enjoy friendly discussion.
1st Saturday Devotions
A dedicated monthly morning of prayer, Rosary, and quiet reflection on the first Saturday of the month, fulfilling the First Saturday devotion in honor of Our Lady.
“Curry Club”
Don’t let the name fool you—it isn’t strictly curries! This informal social group brings parishioners together over meal outings and social evenings just to enjoy each other’s company.
Social Committee
The friendly team behind our parish hospitality! They help organize parish celebrations, community events, and coordinate refreshments and teas after Sunday Mass.
Gardening Club
Meeting on Saturdays to tend our church grounds and garden beds. A wonderful, hands-on way to enjoy the outdoors and keep our parish grounds beautiful and welcoming.
Liturgy, Music & Ministry
Parish Choir
Our choir leads the congregation in praise and enhances our Sunday Mass and feast day liturgies with Sacred Music. New singers and instrumentalists are always welcome!
Altar Serving
Assisting Fr. Daniel at the altar during Holy Mass. Open to children who have made their First Holy Communion, as well as teenagers and adults wanting to serve the sanctuary.
Children’s Liturgy
Held during Sunday morning Mass, offering young children a tailored reflection on the Sunday Gospel through stories, discussions, and creative activities.
